AP LAWCET / PGLCET 2026 Registration to Begin on February 12; Check Exam Date Here

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has announced that the registration process for AP LAWCET and AP PGLCET 2026 will begin on February 12, 2026. The entrance examinations are being conducted for admission to law programmes offered by universities and affiliated colleges in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2026–27.

As per the official AP CETs 2026 notification, the Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test (AP LAWCET) and the Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test (AP PGLCET) will be conducted in CBT mode. The examinations will be conducted by Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV), Tirupati, on behalf of APSCHE.

AP LAWCET / PGLCET 2026 Dates

The AP LAWCET 2026 examination is scheduled to be held on May 4, 2026, for admission to 3-year and 5-year LL.B programmes. On the same day, AP PGLCET 2026 will also be conducted for candidates seeking admission to LL.M programmes in the state. Eligible candidates will be able to submit their applications online only through the official CET portal, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in, once the registration window opens.

Candidates applying for AP LAWCET must have passed the qualifying examination as prescribed for undergraduate law courses, while AP PGLCET applicants must hold an LL.B degree from a recognised university to be eligible for LL.M admission.
