As per the official notification released by APSCHE, the AP EdCET 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted on May 4, 2026.

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has announced the schedule for the Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test (AP EdCET) 2026. This state-level entrance exam is the gateway for students seeking admission into a 2-year B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) and B.Ed. Special Education programs in government, aided, and private colleges across Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2026-27.

Interested and eligible candidates can now submit their applications online through the official portal. The registration and processing fee must be paid online using a Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking: OC (Open Category): ₹650; BC (Backward Classes): ₹500; and SC/ST: ₹450.

  • B.Ed. Special Education (Hearing Impairment, Visual Impairment, and Intellectual Disability)

AP EdCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian Citizen and satisfy the local/non-local status requirements of Andhra Pradesh.
  • Age: Candidates must have completed 19 years of age as of July 1, 2026. There is no upper age limit.
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. Home Science/B.Com./B.C.A./B.B.M.) or a Post-Graduate degree.
    • Minimum Marks: At least 50% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/BC/PH) in the qualifying examination.
    • B.E./B.Tech graduates with at least 50% marks are also eligible if they have studied Mathematics or Physics as a subject.

AP EdCET 2026 Selection Process

  1. Entrance Exam: Candidates must appear for the Computer-Based Test (CBT).
  2. Ranking: Merit ranks are assigned based on the marks obtained in AP EdCET 2026.
  3. Counselling: Shortlisted candidates will be called for web-based counselling for seat allotment in various colleges.

AP EdCET 2026-How to Apply?

  1. Visit the official website: cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.
  2. Click on "AP EdCET - 2026".
  3. Step 1: Pay the Registration Fee online.
  4. Step 2: Check your Payment Status.
  5. Step 3: Fill out the Online Application Form using your Payment ID.
  6. Step 4: Submit and take a printout of the application for future reference.
