Himachal Pradesh NEET Counselling: AMRU, H.P. Announces Extended Stray Round of Counselling for MBBS/BDS Courses

AMRU released the schedule for extended stray round for admission to MBBS/BDS courses. Students must get their documents verified by 5 November 2024.

In a recent development, Atal Medical & Research University, Himachal Pradesh, has announced an Extended Stray Round of counselling to fill vacant MBBS and BDS seats for the 2024-25 academic session. This decision was made by the Prospectus Review and Counselling Committee for MBBS/BDS during a meeting held on November 4, 2024, under the chairmanship of the Director of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Shimla.

The seats that remain unoccupied after the stray round of counselling include seven Management Quota seats in the General Category for MBBS at Maharishi Markandeshwar Medical College & Hospital (MMMCH), Solan, and two seats under the Himachal Pradesh Quota in the Himachal Pradesh Government Dental College (HPGDC), Shimla—one for the General Category and one for the ST category.

The Extended Stray Round of counselling aims to fill these seats before the last date of admission set by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), New Delhi, which is November 5, 2024. Eligible candidates are advised to participate in the counselling process as per the schedule outlined below.
