To be eligible for the MBA ( Non-PGCET) program, applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks. A relaxation of 45% is applicable for SC/ST/CAT-1 candidates.
Candidates must also have a valid score in one of the accepted entrance exams, such as CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, or Karnataka PGCET.
The application process is fully online, starting with filling out a detailed application form that captures the candidate's personal, academic, and professional details. Applicants then undergo a multi-stage selection process designed to evaluate not only academic merit but also communication skills, self-awareness, and industry readiness.
The process includes an AI-based automated video interview assessing behavioral traits and cognitive reasoning, followed by a short 3-5 minute video or live presentation on the candidate’s personal SWOC (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Challenges).
Finally, shortlisted candidates face a panel interview conducted by industry leaders, alumni, and faculty to assess leadership potential and cultural fit within the MBA ecosystem. The evaluation weightage for the selection process is distributed as follows: application form and statement of purpose (10%), AI-based interview (25%), SWOC presentation (30%), and panel interview (35%).
Candidates can apply by visiting the official admission page of AIMS Institutes Bangalore and clicking the "Apply Now" button. The institute encourages applicants to carefully review the eligibility criteria and prepare for the multiple stages of the selection process.
