New Delhi: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) examination department has announced the results for the PhD entrance examination of both Stage I and Stage II, for the January 2024 session. AIIMS has released a notice outlining the departmental clinical/practical/lab-based assessment for Stage III in connection with these results.
The AIIMS PhD program entrance examination for Stages I and II, with additional weightage for the PhD particular category, was conducted on February 9, 2024. Candidates who have appeared the exam must appear in the Departmental Clinical/Practical/lab-based assessment (Phase III) through video conferencing. This assessment is scheduled for March 1, 2024, with different timings specified for each department.
Candidates who will be successful in stage III, will be eligible to select any project available in the relevant department, as advertised for the current session's PhD seats. Candidates need a fellowship to be eligible for seats where fellowship is mandatory.
On the other hand, candidates with fellowships will qualify for all seats in the respective department. Applicants who have applied under their fellowship but still need to submit a valid certificate as per the prospectus, and if no fellowship is available in the project, will not be eligible for further consideration.
Candidates can submit documents from Tuesday, February 20, 2024, until Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 05:00 PM. If the documents are not uploaded by the specified time on Thursday, February 22, 2024, the candidature will be considered cancelled, and no correspondence regarding this matter will be entertained.
Therefore, candidates must upload the necessary certificates/documents before the deadline. Candidates must send the hard copies or photocopies of the certificates/documents to the Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi.
All original certificates/documents will be verified at the time of joining. Candidates should be prepared to be available online on the day of the departmental assessment until the completion of the Stage-III Departmental Assessment (Online Mode).
Therefore, as applicable, candidates must upload scanned copies of the mentioned certificates/documents on the AIIMS website:
- Date of birth certificate
- Graduation certificate
- Graduation marksheet
- Post-graduation marksheet
- Post-graduate certificate
- No objection certificate
- Experience certificate
