AIIMS PBBSc Nursing 2026 Stage 2 Interview Schedule Out

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has released the Post Basic BSc (Hons) Nursing 2026 Stage 2 schedule on the official portal at aiimsexams.ac.in. The round covers the Personal Interview and Personal Assessment for shortlisted candidates.

The notice lists the reporting dates, timings, and important instructions. Only candidates who qualified Stage 1 can appear for this round. A change in the interview date is not allowed except in emergency situations.

The Stage 1 written test was held on May 30, 2026. AIIMS declared the Stage 1 result on June 5, 2026. Shortlisted candidates must now appear for the Stage 2 round.

Who Is Eligible to Appear for Stage 2?

Apart from qualifying Stage 1, candidates must meet the programme’s core eligibility requirements. AIIMS verifies these criteria during the document verification process on the interview day.

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with a State Nursing Council
  • GNM diploma from a recognised nursing institution
  • Diploma completed on or before the application deadline

About the AIIMS Post Basic BSc Nursing Programme

The Post Basic BSc (Hons) Nursing programme is a two-year full-time course offered by AIIMS institutions across India. The programme prepares registered nurses for advanced roles in nursing practice.

Graduates can work in hospitals, teaching institutions, and community health services. Many students also pursue MSc Nursing and specialised nursing training after completing the programme.

What Happens After the Interview and Personal Assessment?

AIIMS combines the scores of both stages to prepare the final merit list. The merit list is uploaded to the AIIMS examinations portal. Seat allotment is conducted based on the candidate’s final rank and institute preference.
