All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi has extended the last date for online registration for the PhD Programme January 2026 session. As per the latest admission notice issued by the Examination Section, candidates now get additional time to complete their applications.

The institute has also released a revised schedule covering application status, admit card upload, examination, results, and departmental assessment. Applicants must finish registration and regularly check updates on the official portal.

AIIMS released Admission Notice No. 13/2026 announcing that the registration deadline has been pushed forward to give more time to interested candidates. Earlier, the last date was mid-January, but now students can apply till February 6, 2026 (5:00 PM).

This extension will help applicants who were unable to complete document uploads or payment formalities earlier.

The institute has published a fresh timeline for all stages of the admission process. Candidates should carefully note the following important dates:

After logging into their registered account, applicants can check the application status on the MyPage portal. If the form is rejected, the reason will also be displayed there.

The admit card will be available online only, and no offline copy will be sent. Candidates must download and print it before the exam day.

Students are advised to complete registration early, verify uploaded documents, and regularly visit the official website for announcements. Missing any deadline may lead to cancellation of candidature.

After the written test result, shortlisted candidates will appear for the Departmental Assessment in March 2026. Final selected candidates must complete admission formalities and join the PhD programme by March 31, 2026, along with required academic documents and certificates.
