AIIMS Delhi Director Encourages Youth Towards Well being through Food Safety

New Delhi: AIIMS-Delhi organized a gathering on National Youth Day on January 12, the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, Director of AIIMS Delhi Faculty, M Srinivas addressed the gathering and said ‘the youth of the nation should focus on food safety and overall well-being while understanding the importance of nurturing the heat and mind simultaneously”.

Dr. Kanwalpreet Kocchar, the Head In-Charge of the Cognitive Neurophysiology and Nutrition Lab, at AIIMS Delhi, urged the youth to become catalysts of change. Reflecting on the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, she said ‘The youth is going to change the world. Let us arise, awake, and not stop till we achieve the goal. In order to achieve everything we need to prioritize our health- physical, spiritual, and mental”

Secretary of CBSE, Himanshu Gupta (IAS) said, ‘As we converge to commemorate National Youth Day, the trajectory of our nation becomes all the more significant. In a departure from convention, today’s youth aged between 30 to 35 are not only forgiving the thriving companies but also spearheading the ascent of young tycoons.’

Highlighting the significance of physical fitness in achieving success, The Director of AIIA, Delhi, Dr Tanuja Nesari said “Emphasizing Ayurveda’s core principle, “Mastu Sukhino Bhavantu” (may everyone be happy), it is very important to adopt habits that will contribute to the physical spiritual, and mental well-being.
