AIIMS New Delhi has published the results of the Mock Seat Allocation ahead of the first round of seat allocation for the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET) January 2025 session. This session covers admissions to MD/MS/MCh (6 years)/DM (6 years)/MDS programs in leading institutions, including AIIMS campuses, JIPMER Puducherry, NIMHANS Bengaluru, PGIMER Chandigarh, and SCTIMST Trivandrum. Additionally, AIIMS has issued detailed guidelines for the allocation of postgraduate (PG) seats, ensuring transparency and fairness in the process.

INI CET 2025 January Session Mock Seat Allocation
The mock seat allocation, based on candidate choices submitted between December 5–7, 2024, is purely indicative. It offers candidates an opportunity to assess their potential seat allocation based on their current preferences.

Guidelines for PG Seat Allocation
AIIMS has released comprehensive guidelines for creating a 200-point roster system to allocate postgraduate seats for the January 2025 session. These guidelines align with a Supreme Court directive to ensure equitable seat distribution.
Institutional Preference (IP) Seats

Candidates who completed their MBBS from the same AIIMS are eligible for IP seats, provided they meet general eligibility criteria.

IP seats account for up to 50% of the MBBS seats of the 2019 batch at respective AIIMS campuses, capped at 50% of Unreserved (UR) seats.

No IP seats are available at AIIMS where MBBS courses started after 2019.
Reservation and Roster Details

PWBD Reservation: Candidates are eligible within their respective reservation categories. Unfilled seats revert to their categories.

Seat Conversion Rules: Any unfilled seats will be converted in subsequent rounds as follows:

EWS → UR.

OBC → UR.
-
ST → SC, then UR.

SC → ST, then UR.

Merit-Based Allocation

Seats are allocated based on a 200-point roster and candidate merit.

Candidates qualifying for UR seats on merit are allotted UR seats if preferred.

Vacated seats are resumed from the first vacant position in subsequent rounds.
