AICTE Accepting Applications from Existing and Newly Established Institutions Offering Engineering, Management, and Technology Programs

New Delhi: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has invited applications for the 2024-25 academic session. This invitation is extended to existing technical institutions, deemed universities, and central, state, and private universities, both for the extension of approval and new institutions seeking approval to provide programs in engineering and technology, design, town planning, management, computer applications, hotel management and catering technology (HMCT), as well as applied arts and crafts.

All higher education institutions can submit their applications using the quick link 'approval process 2024-27' at @aicte-india.org. The online application portal will remain accessible for both existing and new technical institutions until January 31. An extension with a penalty fee will be granted until February 7.

For existing and new institutions interested in obtaining approval for programs in computer applications (BCA) and management (BBA or BMS), the online portal will remain open until February 26, allowing them to submit their applications to AICTE.

Institutions seeking approval, recommendations, or an extension of approval to conduct management and computer applications programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels through online distance learning or online mode must submit their applications.

For stakeholders planning to establish new technical institutions or institutions offering or intending to offer BBA, BCA, and BMS programs, an online application should be submitted through the 'National Single Window System (NSWS)' on the official website nsws.gov.in, following the guidelines outlined in the Approval Process Handbook for the period 2024-25 to 2026-27.
