- The academic system of the university teaches much beyond the theoretical knowledge as I learn the application of theory in real life and much of the practical approach needed as a fresher to work in a dynamic environment.
- The University provides a lot of facilities and that too free of cost. You have access to library -unlimited books unlimited photocopies ,scan just free of cost , teaching help services - can book session with highly educated staff and discuss anything be it a assignment or anything that pops in the mind and need a expert advice.
- The lecturers are very friendly and open to suggestions which makes it easy to form a friendly relation and approach them without hesitation.
- I find accommodations through Facebook or websites like lodge ,waikato rentals. The average rent of one person is around 200 dollars in which room is private and everything else is shared, but you don't have to pay anything extra for electricity, internet or utilities and if you opted for a private accommodation where everything is personal, it is generally 300 dollars and everything included.

Dislikes
- Some lecturers are out of reach after the session like even through emails they don't respond quicker.
- The university accommodation is quite costly.
- The fee also gets increased every year
- I opted out for off-campus accommodation since its much cheaper. So, I started searching my online platforms and then I set up a viewing and saw the room. For the first week I searched, mostly the rooms were far from the university. So, then I started searching using Facebook Marketplace, and I searched using the close radius option and got a room near the university after 2 weeks of searching.
- The rent here is paid weekly, so its NZ$180 preweek, which includes the kitchen, washing machine and electricity. For Wi-Fi and gas bills, it will cost another 50-60 extra. Mostly, as far i have seen, Indians stay close to the university for quite some time, and then if they buy a car or something, they go a little further so the rent is a little cheaper there.

Since I was in New Zealand from the age of 2, so I liked this university and this university was near my home land and therefore I got admission here.
I wanted to study at the University which is highly prestigious and recognisable throughout the globe. The placement records were one of the factors which sincerely drove me to get an admission here. The overall exposure provided as well as the value of the name is much more as compared to any other universities under the same class. I did extensive research about which university and course should I pursue for my career and ultimately I choose to study here.
New Zealand is a small market compared to any large market countries like UK or USA. I preferred this university because the course I pursued there is actually relevant to what I wanted to do in my career ahead. The course curriculum didn't have any semester or trimester system. Each and every paper were given sole training continuously and the impact of group discussion was high. The entire learning method is different from what we learn in India. The concept of exams wasn't there for most of the papers I studied at this university.
