- Hard to make friends even though people speak English
- On campus grocery shops are very expensive (Only one available)
- Food in the University restaurants are expensive
Campus Life
- The University has only One campus (Enschede, The Netherlands)
- There are more than 100 plus sports facilities available, each sport has their own club, there a huge library where you can borrow textbooks, working material etc. there are also study spaces, you can book a room for free for studying. As for Medical services there is a hospital and a dentist on campus in case of emergencies.
- Kick-in festival (two times a year)(Depends if the University has budget) , Kings Day, Business Days (Companies from all over the country come and setup a stall to display their projects, also helpful to grow your network)
- A lot of student organizations are available. depending on the Engineering branch they each have a study association and they provide information such as previous year Question papers or study material apart from this they offer free Coffee and Tea and occasionally free fruits. As for the sports clubs each sport have their own club they post the training times on their own websites.
- NOTE: To access all the above you need a student card (Student ID card given by the University) and a yearly subscription
Accommodation
- For the first year the University guarantees accommodation on Campus, they have a separate website for it. After one year you are supposed to find your own accommodation elsewhere, which can be through online platforms, real estate agents.
- Current rent is (500, 400 rent and 100 for utilities (GWE and Internet))
- Challenges: You have to decide whether you want a private room for yourself or you want to stay with a group of friends. Staying alone will rise up your living costs significantly (Just the rent might be alone a 1000 Euros excluding utilities such as Gas(G) water(W) and Electricity(E) and Internet)
- It takes about 6 months to one year to find a proper accommodation. so start searching for accommodation as soon as you are in your first house
- I live about 5 km away from the University Campus, most of the Indian Students live in the near by cities which are just 5 km away from the Campus

Amazing campus (best campus in the Netherlands). UT is known for sports (FC Twente is from here). Lots of students associations as well. Housing on campus is really good!
Accommodation
Campus has many student houses. Many students opt for this. Some rarely seek private accommodation in the first year.

Infrastructure is best in class, with best quality research facilities available in the labs. Access to highly technical facilities is also provided with great ease. Library is quite spacious with best infrastructural facilities such as project rooms, discussion rooms, meditating place, individual study spaces. Best in class sports facilities are provided and WIFI connectivity is available throughout the premises of the University campus.

- The best rated course for masters in Business Information technology.
- Entrepreneurial mindset for self development and knowledge expansion. The courses here are research based and very interesting. Extra circular activities are plenty and open to anyone with interest. The professors at the university have doctoral degrees and are very knowledgeable and helpful not just for academic but for professional life as well.
Dislikes
- It’s in a small city so not much happening around. Have to travel a lot to the west for opportunities. There is housing issues and have to find places quite early. Large number of locals use private transport and hence public transport services are a big slow.
Campus Life
The campus is very green. In fact was constructed within a forest. Everyone here rides cycles to places making it most sustainable university. There is free Wi-Fi around the campus with private Wi-Fi for campus accommodation as well. The building are very big and hold latest technology. Library is best learning place used by most students. The libraries have a lot of books of different categories and authors. The staff are also very friendly with helping.
Accommodation
The housing for internationals can be done on campus or in the city. Most housings are shared spaces with other internationals and locals. The city is same as well. The rent is considerable lower compared to the west which is about EUR 600 max. There is a waiting period for some housing so application of those will take sometime.

- I found it more aligned with my background. That is the reason I choose it.
- It offers a blending learning approach with a mix of theory, practical and field visits. It has got a wonderful campus and attracts international students from varied geographies and backgrounds. The professors are very open and helpful.
Dislikes
- The university does not offer career counselling for the international students. Besides, there is low intensity in coursework which may be increased. The course structure needs to be redesigned making it more aspirational and intensive.
Campus Life
It is a wonderful experience with the facilities provided by the college.
It is good in terms of sharpening leadership abilities and interpersonal skills, but not that impressive in terms of building technical skills.

Accommodation
Sharing rooms. Yearly living costs are around 10000 euros.
Accommodation
For part of the course, one has to stay in India as well as n The Netherlands for some period of time. In India accommodation for girls was in flat system on a sharing basis. One flat was shared among 3 students. For boy, it was room facility with sharing of two. In Netherlands, a single accommodation facility in a 16 storey hotel was provided with all the facilities like bathroom, bed, safe, refrigerator, study table, chairs etc. One floor has two wings each consisting of 15 rooms, having shared kitchen facility. Room service is provided once a week. The hotel reception, washing area, laundry room, recreational area were at the ground level. the hotel is situated in the central area of the city in close proximity to the main market and railway station. The cost of living was included in the tuition fees. It was around 4000- 4500 euros for five months. Small amount of that fee was given to a monthly stipend that covered around 300 euros. The cost of travelling by trains can be cutted off by booking online tickets from the website (https://www.ns.nl/en) which accepts any local bank card or may have other payment options. Asking a friend for the same can also work. Someone can book your tickets on your behalf and can send it to you by email. It would significantly reduce the cost of travelling. For example, from Amsterdam to enschede the one way journey costs around 24 euros but with the online booking it would be only 7 euros. one had to carry passport every time of travel. One facebook group (UT Marketplace) is very useful in the duration of stay, people buy and sell stuffs at reduced rates from the page, like bikes, home appliances, furniture, train tickets etc.
It was the best course in remote sensing field which was allied by the best institutions across the world. The course had best faculty from IIRS, ISRO and ITC, Netherlands along with the multicultural environment for research work and skill training. The course was supposed to be of the utmost quality.
