  • There are accommodations available on campus, but they are limited. There are several websites available to rent a whole apartment, a room or shared space with others. Also, websites that specifically offer student accommodation help a lot in finding the appropriate and safe accommodation for a year, which makes it easier and hassle-free.

  • It feels difficult at the start, but eventually, when time passes, we get to know the process here, and it gets easy from there. It is natural to feel overwhelmed once you reach here and start your course.
  • For Masters in finance, it is 4 days a week for semester 1 and 2 days a week for semester 2
  • The average number of students in my course was 140.
  • Indian students out of 140 were 132.

Fees

  • The fee for a master's in finance is 17,600 euros; this includes every charge.
  • It is yearly; we can pay the first half of the fee while applying, and the rest can be paid after some time, basically in the second semester.
  • 1000 euros is the monthly regular expense that usually happens which includes rent, transportation and necessities.
  • It again depends on different individuals and their expenses.

  • I would say the difficulty level of my course curriculum was quite difficult but manageable if you grasp all the concepts well and dedicate a good amount of your time during the week to self-studying. It was a good mix of theoretical and practical, and most importantly, it was research-oriented. I have already mentioned the positive and negative aspects of my course in the initial page of the form in brief and those are mainly it.

Fees

  • The total fees that I had to pay were 17,500 euros (although they have increased now). I paid approximately 720 euros a month (including bills) for the university accommodation (although that too has increased now). It was a single ensuite room shared with 4 other people.
  • The fees are charged yearly (at least that was the case for me). Monthly expenses completely depend on the person and how much that person spends on their daily needs and other leisurely activities.

  • The course is difficult but doable with hard work. It is a Masters degree so you cannot expect it to be a cakewalk. Complex topics are included and a lot of computer science topics are added as well to ensure holistic development of students.
  • Almost 80% of the batch is comprised of Indian students so you’ll always find comrades from your own country. Classes are usually held 4 days a week for 6 hours a day.

Fees

  • The total tuition fees for Non EU students are EUR 17,600. The fees can be paid in 2 semesters. Monthly expenses are relative but on average it costs 1200 EUR per month to live in Dublin.
  • Dublin is one of the most expensive places to live in Europe. Rent is high, and for a shared room, the cost is EUR 700. For a single apartment, it can go up to EUR 1000. Food, transport, and electricity cost another 200 to 300 EUR.

  • Searching for accommodation is one of the challenging tasks for the students, especially to get hostel accommodation, as college does not have much facility to provide. Students have to arrange their accommodation on their own and make sure to deal with the inflated price, as there are a lot of scammers as well.

  • I would say the course wasn't hectic enough. Even though it gave you insights into all topics, some aspects weren't as in-depth as I would've wanted them to be. There are 3 semesters per master's course. 2 regular semesters and 1 research semester. During the regular semester there are about 2-3 classes of all courses per week with 2 hours of study and 1 hour of tutorial and for courses that are tutorial only, they have a 3-hour class in the lab.
  • Since courses collide with other majors, the exact number of the students in the course is hard to tell, but in Data Analytics there were about 80 students. It's the most popular major out of all. AI had about 60 students so based on this, I would say Masters in Computing had about 150 students in total. The classes are usually in the evening, 4 to 7 or 3 to 7. In a week you'll get 2 days off excluding weekends.

Fees

  • Total fees were 18,000 Euros for 12 months. Where I had to pay 500 to confirm my seat, this is part of the fees so it is adjusted. Then I had to pay 60% of the entire fees by 1st September, i.e., before classes start and pay the rest before the start of the second semester. You can also pay the entire amount in one go.
  • I didn't stay on campus; I stayed in a student accommodation where my monthly rent was 1136 Euros but this included everything, such as electricity and bins but we had to pay for laundry.

  • I would say that the curriculum was not that difficult. However, it was very structured and the professors had high expectations with the assignments. It was a good balance between theoretical and practical experience
  • The positive aspects would be - Excellent professors, mind boggling assignments, Easy to understand and very well structured, Timed curriculum
  • The negative aspects would be - I would've enjoyed an internship more than a dissertation to gain some more industrial experience

Fees

  • I received a scholarship of 2000 EUR and hence my fees after scholarship was 15000 EUR. This included only the tuition fees. I was not living on campus and hence there was an additional expense of 1000 EUR per month (12000 EUR yearly) on rent, utilities and food.
  • I paid the fees in full before the start of the curriculum. But you could pay it in two parts. 50% upfront and the remaining after the first semester.
  • ALl of monthly expenses including rent, utilities, transportation, stationary amounted to about 1000 EUR a month
