- This degree is unique in that will have the chance to participate in two work placements and earn two business degrees in two countries.
- In the four years, students ll gain the necessary knowledge and skills to meet the challenges of the diverse worlds of global and local business.
- Students will spend their first two years in DCU, which includes a work placement in Ireland, and then their final two years in the USA.
- From 2017, there will be a common entry to Global Business USA (DC116), after which students will indicate a preference to study at Northeastern University in Boston or the University of San Diego, located on the west coast of the USA. Northeastern University is one of the leading universities in the United States, ranked number one among those US universities that offer work placements as part of their programme.
- University of San Diego, located approximately two miles north of downtown San Diego on the west coast of the United States, is ranked the 53th Best Undergraduate Business Schools in the United States by Bloomberg Businessweek
- Students will graduate with two qualifications, one from DCU and one from the partner institution in which they study.
- Students are responsible for their own accommodation, travel and insurance costs for their 2 years abroad
