- I chose it because of the exposure I get here. I can do my internships and masters thesis anywhere in the world which will help in future steps towards my career in research. I could work in TUM also and now I'm working in the leading cancer research institute of Germany DKFZ.
- Flexible course building and research network which leads to better internship opportunities and exposure. The Martinsried campus has Max Planck institutes, Helmholtz and other industrial workplaces like LZB that makes it easy to manage classes with internships.
Dislikes
- Course allocation system is not student friendly. We have to fill in course preferences ayt beginning of semester and on a specific date courses are alloted to students by random system (probably). This way a lot of students end up not getting desired courses in the semester they want or never and end up not being able to finish their Masters in time.
It has been great. I got to learn a lot and the highlight was different research experiences I had in different institutes and fields.
Likes
- It is on of the best universities in the world for Data Science.
Overall it is a nice experience. Obviously getting acquainted with the new life style and teaching is challenging and will initially be difficult, but it gets better with time. Attending lectures in the University instead of sitting at home and watching them online definitely helps.
Choosing LMU Munich was a no brainer. Its one of the best university in Germany and Europe. The research makes the backbone and it's worth it.

Yes, Ludwig Maximilian University offers language courses in English and German at UG and PG levels.
Ludwig Maximillian University does not offer M.Sc. Neuro psychology course to the students.
Ludwig Maximilian University offers an M.Sc Public Health program but does not offer M.Sc in Dental Public Health. The said program is a German-taught program and students seeking admission in this program have to submit a valid German Language Proficiency test score.
