- The Faculty for Chemistry and Pharmacy and the Faculty for Biology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich offer an advanced program of study which grants, upon successful completion, the degree of Master of Science.
- Admission to these programs requires a bachelor of science in either chemistry and biochemistry, biology and biochemistry or biochemistry. The Master of Science in biochemistry and the diploma in biochemistry are equivalent.
- Students in the master's program acquire advanced specialized knowledge in their field which enables them to conduct independent research in the field of biochemistry and related applications and embark on multidisciplinary careers.

Ludwig Maximillian University does not offer M.Sc. Neuro psychology course to the students.
