- By teaching important psychological models of experience and behavior, students acquire fundamental knowledge, skills and abilities in scientifically founded psychology. You get to know theories and research questions and can apply them to selected examples from the respective subject area.
- The basics of empiricism are also acquired so that psychological experiments can be planned, carried out and statistically evaluated.
- The knowledge acquired enables students to work primarily in the areas of diagnostics, advice, evaluation and research. This includes professions with primarily diagnostic and advisory tasks in health and social services, in education and training, in administration, business and industry and for activities in the context of scientific investigations as well as for tasks in the context of professional training, further education and training.
- Possible occupational fields include activities in human resources, health education and schooling, consulting activities in the educational field as well as in the clinical and work psychological environment and also in the field of surveys and market research.
