Eligibility & Entry Requirement
The entry requirements for the Master of Science in Data Science program at the Free University of Berlin:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
- A total of 180 credit points (LP).
- At least 20 LP in mathematics modules, including at least 5 LP in linear algebra or calculus and at least 5 LP in probability theory or statistics.
- At least 10 LP in computer science modules, including at least 5 LP in algorithms and at least 5 LP in a module that imparted knowledge of a higher programming language, e.g. C/ C++, Java or Python.
- English language proficiency at the C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
