The first goal of the MA is its explicit practical orientation. By imparting well-founded theoretical and empirical knowledge about politics and governance in the global multi-level system, the students are enabled to provide scientific policy advice in governmental, international and non-governmental organizations. This in-depth scientific approach is supplemented by modules in which practical competencies (e.g. project management, evaluation, rhetoric) are acquired.
