The accredited master's degree in mechanical engineering deepens in three directions:

• Development and production: Modern methods in the areas of development/design and manufacturing/production. These include the CAD / CAM chain, high-performance machining and additive manufacturing (3D printing)
• Vehicle technology: State-of-the-art construction principles, drives, and chassis technology, as well as body designs in the sense of the greatest possible environmental protection
• Renewable energy technology: Integrates and combines the mechanical engineering and electrical engineering skills of regenerative energy technology. The aim here is to design energy conversion processes so that a balance between energy requirements and climate protection can be maintained.

The course comprises 3 semesters. In two theory semesters, you will work on the topics mentioned above with the help of lectures, exercises, seminars, laboratories, and projects. In the third semester, they write and present the master's thesis.
