The structure, conception, and construction of energy and automation systems are characterized by many interfaces to different specialist areas. In the master's program, this requires not only content from the fields of energy and automation technology, but also from system technology, communication technology, drive technology, sensors, and actuators.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- Students with a bachelor's degree are admitted. The following courses at the Beuth University Berlin are consecutive:
- Bachelor in electrical engineering
- Bachelor in mechatronics
- Bachelor in Computer Engineering
- The Dean decides on the suitability of graduates with comparable previous qualifications (e.g. diploma courses).
- For suitable bachelor's degree programs with less than 210 credits, the dean will provide additional modules, the successful completion of which must be proven by the time the thesis is registered in order to achieve the 300 credits required for a master's degree.
- German proficiency is required for most subjects and English B2 is needed for some subjects.
