- The cosmetology course at the University of Osnabrück is unique in Germany. It is designed in an interdisciplinary manner and includes courses in the scientific and medical basic subjects such as subject-related chemistry, skin biochemistry, cosmetics chemistry, microbiology, skin physiology, dermatology as well as toxicology and prevention (shared with health and nursing sciences).
- The degree program is given a special profile by a high proportion of subject-specific chemistry and biochemistry as well as dermatological and health education content.
- The course is organized in stages. It starts with the bachelor's degree course "Vocational Training". The subject must be studied together with valid combinations of subjects. Afterward, the master's program "Teaching at Vocational Schools" can be completed.
