- The Computer Science discipline has three forms: the natural and cognitive science, the mathematical-theoretical and the engineering science. The Osnabrück computer science covers - partly in interdisciplinary cooperation with other institutes - all three forms.
- The master's program in computer science enables students with its very large compulsory elective area and an application subject that can be freely selected from the range of courses. The course content is both research-oriented and has a strong practical relevance and is based on the research focus of the Institute of Computer Science.
- The master's program offers a research and development project lasting over two semesters in project groups of eight to ten students. This not only intensively processes and integrates the respective IT content, but at the same time deepens the essential social skills in IT (e.g. collaboration in project teams).
- The relationship between Osnabrücker Informatik is very good and the contact with the teachers is very close. The chances of participating in research topics in the context of projects, theses or assistant positions are correspondingly high.
