The specialty of the master's program is the close integration of Anglo-American linguistics, literature and cultural studies and the emphasis on the connection between linguistic-cultural knowledge and linguistic-cultural practice and communication. By perceiving common objects and questions, linguistic, textual and intercultural competence should be built up and expanded at the same time. Coordinated seminars examine, for example, the development of English and American literature and language in different epochs from a linguistic and literary perspective.
