After checking the results the candidates are required to register themselves for the counselling process, and lock and submit their list of preferred colleges for the and seat allotment rounds to begin. For Male Candidates
The male candidates are eligible to apply to only two of the institutes, namely Ashoknagar State General Hospital and Baghajatin State General Hospital. Since the seats alloted for male candidates are less in number compared to the female candidates, the cut off required for them is higher. The cut off for a general male candidate would be at least 75 or more.
WBJEE ANM GNM Counselling Process
Within a week of the declaration of the results, the couselling process will begin. Candidates would have to visit the official website to register themselves for the process of counselling. Once the registration process is completed , candidates would be required to select institutes in order of their preference. After choice filling is done, the choices will have to be saved and locked.
After the choice filling process is completed , the counselling results will be released. The counselling results are generally released in five rounds , Seat Allotment Round 1, round 2, round 3, Mop up round and the Spot Counselling round.
Seat Allotment for WBJEE ANM/GNM 2024
The seat allotment process occurs in 4-5 rounds depending on the availability of seats, reservations and cut offs. After the qualified candidates have registered themselves for the counselling session, the round-wise seat allotment will be declared on the website on the scheduled dates. Candidates can download the allotment from the website. Once the list of names are released, these shortlisted candidates will be required to book their seats by paying the seat acceptance fee. Next, they would be required to report to the campus of their respective institute for the document verification and final admission process.
