UBSE Passing Marks Criteria 2026

Is 23 a passing mark out of 70 in UBSE?

Yes. 23 out of 70 is the minimum passing mark for theory papers that carry 70 marks in UBSE board exams, because 33% of 70 equals 23.1, which is applied as 23 marks. However, scoring 23 in theory is not sufficient on its own. You must also separately score at least 10 out of 30 in the practical or internal assessment component for subjects following the 70+30 pattern.
