MP Board Class 12 Exam Pattern

In the senior secondary exam of MP Board exams, there are mainly 5 subjects including English language and literature as a compulsory language paper. Also, exams to these subjects are taken with prior marks acknowledgment and relevant blueprints subject-wise are allotted. However, students’ eligibility criteria entangle with completing the ninth standard from the recognized board.

  1. Theory Examinations (MP Board) 

MP Board every year conducts theory examinations of 70 marks out of which a student must score 25 to pass the exam. Students are scored based on their performance and the marking scheme which is divided into short and long answers, sums in the case of mathematics. The overall scores are calculated from 100 marks inclusive of practical subjects. Also, subjects without practical exams are of 100 marks to which 33 are the passing scores.

  1. Practical Examinations (Respective School)

Students give practical exams in their respective school premises which comprises several assessment factors. As per the practical examination procedure students give lab tests, viva, an experiment in a relevant subject for passing the practical test which is 25 marks.

The MP Board result combines both the theoretical and practical aspects of the academic and a generalized score out of 100 is declared. It accumulates the theoretical and practical performance of students to roll out the result grad-wise from A+ to D grades.

MP Board Class 12

After completing the 11th standard students need to prepare for their higher secondary board exams conducted in two phases. The admit card/Hall-ticket registration procedure is done by the assistance of the respective school and the card is released by January. Every year in the month of March, MPBSE conducts higher secondary exams for the students who have completed 11th standard successfully. To take note, students appearing for the 12th state board under the name of Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) must register successfully. The board has not announced the revision of the syllabus officially but are likely to reduce it. Class 1 syllabus will be reduced in line with the CBSE syllabus.

MPBSE divided the overall higher secondary exam format into two mere parts, one of which is theory and the second one is practical.
