What is the use of the watermarked paper score report or certificate?

The free digital version is accepted for university applications, jobs, and most visas. Get the physical copy if a visa office, professional body (like a nursing or medical council), or an employer or university specifically asks for an original hard copy with security features.

MET Registration ID Requirements

While no ID is required at the time of registering for the exam, you have to submit it at the test center on the test day.

The accepted IDs in India include:

  • Driver’s license
  • Government-issued ID card
  • Passport

The ID must be physical, not a digital copy. Also, the following conditions have to be met:

  • The ID must contain the name and signature of the candidate,
  • The ID must be printed in Latin characters.

Additional requirements for minors:

  • Minors aged 16-17 must carry a permission slip signed by a parent or guardian, or the parent or guardian must accompany them to the test center.
  • Minors aged 15 and below must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Can I submit my Aadhar card at the MET test center?

The Michigan Language Assessment mentions that any government-issued ID with the candidate’s signature and photo is accepted. But since Aadhar Card does not contain the signature of the holder, you cannot use it.
