What is Manipur Board HSLC?

HSLC stands for High School Leaving Certificate. It is the Class 10 board examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM), also known as BOSEM. The exam is the most important milestone for students studying in Class 10 at BSEM-affiliated schools across Manipur.

BSEM was established in 1972 through an Act of the Manipur Legislative Assembly. The Act was later amended in 2004 to extend BSEM’s authority to grant recognition to schools from Standards I to VIII as well. The board is headquartered in Imphal and currently has 786 affiliated schools across the state — 226 Government schools, 103 Government-aided schools, and 457 Private schools.

Manipur Board HSLC 2026 Grading System

Manipur Board HSLC 2026 Admit Card

The HSLC 2026 admit card was issued by BSEM to affiliated schools in February 2026, ahead of the exam that began on February 23, 2026.
