Maharashtra CET Cell has started the MAH MBA CAP 2025 on the official website – mba2025.mahacet.org.in.The counselling will be in four rounds, followed by a round for the Institutes and J&K candidates. MAH MBA CET 2025 CAP III seat allotment has been released on Augsut 21, 2025.
- CAP IV seat allotment will be out on September 1, 2025.

The minimum score required for CAP 2025 is more than 0 marks in MBA CET 2025 and CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA/GMAT (for All India category).
All applications submitted after July 14, 2025 will be considered for Non-CAP seats. Also, applications confirmed by Scrutiny Ceter/ Facilitation Center after July 15 will be considered only for Non-CAP seats.

Eligibility Criteria for MAH CET Counselling 2025
- For Maharashtra State Candidates: The candidates need to possess a valid scorecard for MAH CET exam. Along with this, the candidates need to secure at least 50% in their graduation in any discipline from a recognized institution.
- For Kashmiri Migrants/ All India Candidates: The candidates need to be Indian citizens. The candidates are required to secure at least 50% in their graduation in any discipline from a UGC-recognized institution. Also, candidates must possess a valid scorecard of MAH CET/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ GMAT.
- For NRI and Foreign Nationals: The candidates must have secured at least 50% in their graduation or equivalent in any discipline from a UGC-recognized institution.
MAH CET CAP Registration Process 2025
Candidates need to register on the official website for MAH CET MBA counselling and fill out the form for participating in the CAP process.
- The candidates who have already registered for MAH CET 2025 will be able to log in to the portal with previous credentials.
- The candidates who possess a valid score card of CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, XAT, or GMAT can also register for MAH CET Counseling 2025.
- Candidates need to fill in all the details in MAH CET MBA/ MMS CAP Application form and upload the scanned images of the required documents along with the payment of the application fee.
- Candidates who have registered for MAH MBA CET exam need not pay any registration fees for counselling process but candidates who planning to apply for the admission process based on CAT, CMAT scores will have to pay the following application fees.

MAH CET Counselling Process (CAP) 2025
Step 1: Online Registration and Document Verification
- Earlier, candidates had to send the duly filled form to the facilitation center for verification and confirmation of application submission via post and visit the FCs for document verification.
- The list of designated facilitation centers was announced by the authorities.
- The document verification process has been made online and is done through e-scrutiny centers. Successfully verified candidates will be issued a verification receipt online. In case of any discrepancy found in the documents, candidates will have to re-submit the documents.
Step 2: Online Choice Filling and Locking
- Choose the desired colleges and programs. Candidates can choose a maximum of 300 colleges and institutes from the list.
- Lock the choices before the deadline.
- After locking, the candidates won’t be allowed to edit the choices filled.
Step 3: Release of Provisional Merit List
- After the successful submission of the application form for MAH CET Counselling, a provisional merit list containing the names of the selected candidates will be released.
- Candidates can file their grievances, if any, at the designated facilitation center after which the final merit list will be announced.
Step 4: Release of Final Merit List
- The final merit list will be announced along with the availability of seats for all three CAP rounds.
- Candidates who appear for any round of MAH CET CAP need to report at the ARC (Admission Reporting Center) for verification of documents and confirmation of admission.
Step 5: Seat Allotment
The seats are allotted based on the candidate’s rank in the merit list. After the provisional seat allotment, the students given a seat as per first preference have to accept it and freeze their seat as they are barred from participating in further rounds of CAP process for MAH CET 2025 Admission. The students who are allotted a seat in the first round of CAP can’t participate in the subsequent CAP rounds as their seat is automatically frozen. - The transaction can be done through Net Banking/ e-Challan.
Step 7: Edit Information during Verification of Documents at the Allotted College
Candidates will be allowed to change only the below-mentioned information at the time of document verification:
- Gender
- MAH CET scores
- The category of backward class but the change from General to Reserved category will not be permitted.
- Change from reserved category to general will be permitted in case of failure to present relevant documents.
- Change in home university
- Withdrawal of Reserved category status like Minority, Disability, Defence, etc. in case of failure to submit required documents.
- Change in Type of Candidature
- Removal of Tuition Fee Waiver Seats (TFWS)
- Change in Educational Qualification details
Step 8: Reporting to the Allotted College
The candidates need to report to the allotted college on the specified date for orientation and confirmation.
