CG PET exam pattern 2024 is released by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB). CG PET consist of three sections Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, is conducted in offline mode and is a pen and paper-based exam.
The total number of questions in CGPET is 150 questions. From each section 50 questions will be asked. The exam duration of CGPET 2024 is 3 hours. There is no negative marking in CGPET exam 2024 and 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer.

CGPET 2024 Exam Pattern in Detail
CGPET 2024 paper will have four options for each question. So, for every correct answer students will be awarded by 1 mark. The questions in the paper are comprised from the subject like Physics, Chemistry and Physics.
- The questions are objective type multiple choice questions based on the latest syllabus of CGPET 2024
- Questions will be based on the three different subjects and 50 questions will be asked from each subject.
- Total questions are 150.
- Marks will not be deducted for unattempted questions.
- There is no negatove marking.

CGPET 2024 Marking Scheme
According to candidates answer, marks will be awarded or deducted for that particular questions. Questions asked in the paper are of objective type. For every question 4 or 5 options are given out of which only one has to be chosen.
- For each correct answer, one mark will be awarded.
- On the other hand, for every wrong attempt, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
- Candidates must be very careful while answering the questions and mark only those questions which are known to them.
- Marks will not be deducted or awarded for un-attempted questions.
CGPET 2024 Syllabus
Those applicants who are appearing for CGPET 2024 have to be aware of the complete syllabus. The exam syllabus will be of 10+2 level and questions will be asked from topics studied in 10+2. The questions asked from the subjects are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Important Instructions
Students are advised not to leave any of the above-mentioned topics while preparing for the exam. The following instructions are to be followed by candidates on the exam day:
- Candidates must bring the admit card while appearing in the exam along with the photo identity card.
- Applicants should bring Blue/Black ball point pen to fill the OMR sheet
- Students must reach the examination centre within the time.
- Once the paper start students are not allowed to enter in the examination hall
- In case, students photograph is not clear on the admit card, then they should carry 2 passport size coloured photographs with him/ her at the time of exam
- Using of any other item like calculator, log table, scientific calculator, paper, mobile phones etc are totally prohibited in the examination centre while appearing for the paper.
- There is No negative marking
- After the exam will be conducted the board will release an answer key
- Students must keep the admit card safe because it will be required for further identification during counselling and admission process.
- Applicants should check their eligibility criteria and read all the instructions carefully before appearing in the exam
