Eligibility Criteria to Apply for AIIMS Paramedical Courses
Before applying for AIIMS paramedical courses, candidates should carefully review the eligibility criteria to ensure compliance. Failure to meet these criteria may result in application cancellation and forfeiture of the registration fee. Therefore, candidates must confirm their eligibility before completing the AIIMS paramedical 2025 registration form.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Citizenship: Applicants must be Indian citizens.
- Age: As of December 31, 2025, candidates must be at least 17 years old.

AIIMS Paramedical Exam 2025 Eligibility
Below are the eligibility criteria as laid down by AIIMS New Delhi for appearing for the AIIMS Paramedical Exam 2025 and filling out the AIIMS Paramedical Application Form 2025.
- The aspirant must have passed 12th or an equivalent level in Science from a recognized board of education. He/she must be an Indian citizen.
- Applicants must score at least 50%- 55% of the total marks in 12th for the General and OBC categories while candidates from SC/ ST must score a minimum of 45%.
- Some AIIMS institutes ask for an aggregate score of 55% or higher.

Ques. How many total number of seats are there in AIIMS for paramedical courses?
Ans. In AIIMS, there are a total of 171 seats available for paramedical courses. This doesn't include the 571 seats for B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing. However, the number of seats for paramedical courses can change each year. For example, in 2023, AIIMS Kalyani & AIIMS Rishikesh added seats for Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology (MRIT), Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), and Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) programs. So, the exact number of seats for each course depends on what the AIIMS institutes announce.
Ques. What are the exam day guidelines published by AIIMS?
Ans. Arrival at Exam Centre:
- Candidates must arrive at the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the test begins.

AIIMS has revised the AIIMS Paramedical Application Dates. The last date for AIIMS Paramedical 2024 basic registration is April 26, and the code for the AIIMS Paramedical Exam can be generated till April 30, 2024. The status for UG courses will be released on May 08 and May 09 for PG courses. You can submit the official documents till May 13 and 14 for UG and PG courses, respectively.

The AIIMS Paramedical Application Fee is INR 2000 for the General and OBC category candidates. SC/ST/EwS candidates must pay INR 1600 to register for the AIIMS Paramedical Entrance. There is no fee for PwD candidates.

The AIIMS paramedical entrance exam is considered moderately difficult as a lot of students compete for approximately 171 paramedical seats and 571 nursing seats.
