MDS admission 2025 is based on NEET MDS and INI CET entrance exams. MDS is a postgraduate degree that focuses on advanced training and specialisations in dentistry. To be eligible for MDS admission, candidates must possess a BDS degree along with 1-year compulsory rotatory internship from an approved dental college.

NEET MDS is conducted in March every year. The result is released in April. The exam for INI CET (January session) was conducted on November 10, 2024 with the counselling process currently ongoing.

NEET MDS is conducted by the NBEMS for admission to MDS courses in dental colleges across India. INI CET is conducted by AIIMS Delhi for admission to PG courses including MDS at AIIMS institutes, JIPMER Puducherry and PGIMER Chandigarh.

MDS Admission Process 2025

In order to take admission in MDS programme, students need to have completed a BDS course, including 1 year of internship. In addition to this, students must have a registration with SDC or DCI, only then can they apply for MDS Admission 2025.

Candidates must apply to a valid entrance examination through its official website.
The application form includes personal details like family information, educational qualifications, and contact details.
Candidates are required to submit document proof for the same.
After all the details have been submitted carefully, candidates are asked to pay an application fee.
After successful registration, candidates are eligible to take the entrance exam for MDS Admission 2025.

MDS Counselling 2025

Counselling is a process through which universities allocate seats to students who score well in the MDS entrance exam.

After the exam results are out, qualifying candidates must register themselves for the counselling process, give their personal and educational details, and pay a counselling fee.
During each round of counselling, seats are allocated to candidates whose entrance score reaches the university cut-offs.
Seats are allocated based on preferences, exam scores, reservation and seat availability.
There are almost 4 rounds of counselling conducted, during which seats are allocated or upgraded.
