License Students will have to apply for a license from DGCA, Govt. of India.  License will be issued by DGCA after completion.

Why Study AME Course?

  • Students must complete an AME course from a DGCA-recognised AME Institute to become an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
  • Since the AME license is valid worldwide there are huge opportunities for students after completion of the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course.
  • According to reports, there is a shortage of more than 7 lakh licensed AMEs worldwide.
  • The UDAAN Scheme has played a role in making the local aviation industry very attractive with small airports getting a huge traffic boost.

Who should study the AME Course?

Students after completing AME Course candidates will be responsible for the safety, security, and maintenance of an aircraft which is a job of high dignity and responsibility since an aircraft will not be able to take off without the approval of a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.

The relationship is great among teachers and students. You could contact the faculty whenever needed and they are always helpful. There are 10 or 11 exams depending on the course. The passing percent is 75%. The exam consists of 80 MCQ and 20 marks for writing part. Clearing the exams are hard and difficult comapre to other courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course consists of both practical and theory lessons. The exams are of 3 hours and paper is hard. The course could include some more practical work for better learnings. The course and curriculum provides a better future and it is really helpful in real world.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had no conception of what kind of engineering I should lead to as I have seen many people wandering around on the road having a degree but have no job or job related to their degree they acquired from college even after giving 10 lakh+ amount of money so, I thought that I should do something new related to my hobby but I had always worked on my father's car and bikes since the age of 7 including helping to repairing, I always becomes curious when there is somr new technology introduced related to the stuff I'm into so back then in 2020 I saw an article related to aviation which includes that there is a boom in the aviation industry in India so, I thought that this could be a chance for me to take my hobby to the next level so, I searched about the mechanical job in aviation field where I got to know about AME ; aircraft maintenance engineering. Then I searched for the best college of AME in India my college was on the top so, I asked about the documentation and all then got in.

Faculty

Teachers or instructors are very kind, helpful and very experienced in their respective fields, they are easily approachable and they also like to answer the queries of the students, they never forces a student to do something, they just use different methods to teach the students who are unable to understand in the first explanation.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course because I love aviation and Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is the best course to pursue in aviation with a decent income for the job. The college conducts weekly tests and monthly test for students improvement in studies. I think the lecturers should explain everything in English as many students come from different places in the country to study here as their language is not Hindi.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee structure for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is 4,05,000 which includes four semester fees and registration fees and library and uniform fees and doesn't include the BSc degree course. The have paid around 2lakhs for the whole 1st year fees. The college doesn't offer any scholarships. But you can get National and Regional or State Scholarships by applying for them.

Overall, the college campus was far from city chaos which makes the college quite good for study purposes without any disturbance. Classes were upgraded to online and all recorded class makes it quite easy to watch recorded sessions even after classes. Sports activities make it quite interesting for the students to participate and perform better. Even college trips make it an opportunity for students to know the city and nearby areas better.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees were quite affordable and easy to pay in installments. Even late fines imposed were not as much as it was nominal. Scholarship and special privileges to students from the northeast and J&k encourage students to apply for admissions. College was providing all the required support required from the account section department.

I am currently in second semester of the course but the companies which provide the jobs are Shaurya aeronautics limited and also if we apply for the other jobs we need to clear our modules so that jobs can be captured easily. Highest package for this job I know is 90 lpa and the average package is 10 lpa. Most of the students from AGI get the placement from the AME course After getting the degree, I will be training for the course. And after that I will be applying for the MRO of Air India.
