Location Facts

Durham College is situated on the traditional lands of the First Peoples of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation. These lands are covered under the Williams Treaties and rest within the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg. They offer gratitude to the Indigenous Peoples who care for and, through the treaty process, share the lands on which we live, learn, teach and prosper today.

Library

The Oshawa Campus Library has approximately 700 study spaces available in a mixture of soft seating, open tables, and study carrels.

The hours change during the summer semester, exam period, and around the holiday break. They also have lots of items you can borrow besides books, including laptops, mice, podcast kits, stationery, and more!

The Library has 4 floors, offering a variety of study spaces and services.

  • Study areas are split into areas that allow for different levels of noise.

  • Campus – The Morningside Campus of Centennial College is nestled in the Rouge Valley Conservation Area. The campus consists of an environmentally friendly building that is home to the School of Community and Health Studies and some Engineering Technology and Applied Sciences Programs. The Morningside campus is equipped with high-tech classrooms, extensive libraries, a childcare center, eateries, bookstores, study halls, student lounges, etc.
  • Student Life – Centennial College, Morningside is the crux of vibrant student life. The college is home to multiple student clubs and activities.
