Hey! A bit late to this comment section but would appreciate your response when possible. The MBA HR program seems to be the second most prominent program for NMIMS. How would you say it fares in terms of the roles and companies it attracts? Also, I carry 30 months of workex as a HR myself. I do see that the majority of the batch comes with lesser YOE or are freshers, is a relatively high level of workex in some way a disadvantage? What do you think of the 1 year mba from IIM ABC. If you were given a choice between 1 year MBA from ABC or your NMIMS course, what would you have chosen?

Here's a bit about my profile. Graduated in 2022 (Humanities degree) from a nice DU college, 10CGPA/97%/8.5 CGPA with 19 months of workex (by July 2024). Lots of extracurriculars and awards too! I hope not having big brand names on your resume would not hurt during the placements (I've been working in a small marketing agency and worked in a tech MNC before - with a 6 month gap between 2 jobs) I gave MBA exams during my gap between July '23 to Jan '24. Couldn't clear NMAT (got 230) and other exams so have started working again. Two questions: Is NMIMS good for Marketing? I'm pretty hell bent to get in this field to be honest How did you prepare for NMAT? How can I bring up my score? I missed out by 4 marks in OA cutoff and 8 marks in QA cutoff.

I read your other comments and gathered a couple of questions: Do front office IB roles come for finals as well? A guy pointed that these are generally limited to SIP and PPOs. 2. With a 95/96/73 profile, is it possible to bag consulting/finance SLs in the finals given someone performs as well as you at NM? 3. Please don't bash me for this. But for someone not too worried about WLB and who just wants to earn as good as possible. What should be the target roles to go for? P.S Marketing is scary don't wanna go there

How are the SLs for IB? What do they primarily look for?

I have a similar profile like you GEM 8/7/8 with almost 2 years of work ex … did 2 digital marketing internships during Covid period so that’s the only extra curricular I have. I got laid off last year in July(Midcap IT MNC) but somehow got a job at another small IT startup with 2/3rd the previous salary. Will the interviewer grill me over this?
