Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University offers BPharm and PharmD courses at the UG level. The details of both the courses are given below:

BPharm:

The institute offers a full-time 4 year B.Pharm course at UG level for which admissions for 85% of seats are done on the basis of ACPC, Gujarat. There are a total of 100 BPharm seats at the institute. As per ACPC, Gujarat State Norms seats are filled as follows:

• 85 Seats - admission through ACPC, Gujarat
• 15 Seats - admission as NRI Seats by Nirma University
• 05 Seats  - (Supernumerary/Additional) for Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) Scheme to be filled by ACPC, Gujarat
• 15 Seats - (Supernumerary) as PIO, GULF, FN, CIWGC-SEA Quota

PharmD:

The institute offers a full-time 6 year PharmD course at the UG level for which admissions for 85% of seats are reserved for Indians, while the rest 15% are for NRI students. There are a total of 30 seats for PharmD course at the institute. The other details of the course are tabulated below:

Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University offers a full-time 2 yaer M.Pharm degree with five specializations. There are a total of 54 seats for MPharm course at the institute. The seats are divided as follows:

• MPharm Pharmaceutics – 15 seats
• MPharm Regulatory Affairs – 12 seats
• MPharm Pharmacology – 12 seats
• MPharm Pharmaceutical Analysis – 15 seats

Key Points:

• Candidates appearing for final year examination are also eligible for applying to the course for admission, provided they need to submit the result of the same by email or fax.
• If applicant has passed B.Pharm degree from other university, he/she is required to obtain an Eligibility certificate from Nirma University.
• The entrance test will comprise of Multiple Choice Questions.
• The stipend to NonGPAT M Pharm candidates is increased from INR 5000 to INR 8000 per month.
• The stipend to GPAT qualified M Pharm candidates is INR 12,400 per month.
   

Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University offers Ph.D. program (full time & part time) at research level in Pharmacy to the candidates. The details of the course are given below:

Key Points:

• The entrance test carries 70% weightage, while the interview/viva voce carries 30% weightage
• Minimum required marks for the entrance test is 50% marks.
• Candidate who have qualified UGC NET/UGC CSIR NET (Including JRF)/SLET/GATE/GPAT with valid score or who have teacher fellowship or who have passed M.Phil are exempted from entrance test and are deemed to qualify for personal interview.
