The institute was established in the year 1978 to impart quality education in Pharmacy to its students. It is situated in the city of Sonepat, Haryana. The institute is one of the first, to begin its Pharmacy education in Haryana. It was started by Sonepat, Hindu Educational and Charitable Society.

Hindu College of Pharmacy, Diploma Admission 2024
The institute offers a regular 2 year course in Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) affiliated to Haryana State Technical Education Society, Panchkula, Haryana.
The basic admission criteria is a minimum qualification of 35% marks in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology from any recognized university.

The institute provides a regular 4-year Degree program in Bachelors in Pharmacy (B Pharm).
The minimum qualification required is a pass marks in 12th standard from a recognized Board from any state in India. Physics Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology to be as compulsory subjects.
There is no entrance exam conducted. The only selection process is based on merit of Senior Secondary education.
