Chitkara College of Pharmacy Chandigarh Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is very well under the rules of pci . Other than the teachers some mentors are appointed as well to help children. The best faculties are of pharmacology and medicinal chemistry. All teachers are pretty decent. We have Mst 1 and 2 which includes 6 exams each for theory and 4 for practical and after that we have end sems.

The faculty members of my department are all doctors which in india no other college has and all of them are well educated provide very good quality of notes which have sufficient amount of knowledge covered according to age group. There are various amount of teachers if one of them get absent another teacher takes the period by that the syllabus portion does not lefts behind . Ms. Veerta is a very good teacher and teaches APHE. She understands the problems of a student and also give good notes and has very nice behaviour. She is a strict teacher but very nice too. Our uni takes two STs and one end term examinations and is very strict about the attendance. If one has short attendance he/she gets detained

The faculty are well educated and qualified..it offers wide range of subjects and exposure specially in oharmacy which has been the oldest course in this college..the interactions with trachers are nice and handy..they offers great ideas and teachings..the exams are held 2 times ..first in mst 1 then mst 2 and then the final examinations ..in case one of the exam from mst in not given..then you can give mst 3 as an subsitudent ..the attendance criteria is strict ..75 percent of attendance us mandatory to give examinations..during some medical issure you can give medical certificate and that will be qualified by deen to give the examinations..I sometimes hate the examinations attendence strictness.. although the college is nice infrastructure is also good..i think they should renovate their pharmacy building..as its too old design and gives hospital type vibe..otherwise i like to go to college daily ..the crowd of students is also nice and exposre it offers is also nice..u can opt it al

The faculty student ratio is 20:1, they are really polite to students and very helping they will give you the good knowledge not only in studies but also for life . And there are some great teachers like DR Somdutt mujwar , Dr poonam arora , dr diksha sharm , dr shushma they are very nice to the students in every aspect and the college take 2 sessional exams before semester exam u have to got 50 marks including internals . The exam are moderately tough not so . But u will easily pass if u take regular lecture.

In pharmacy department almost all teachers are phd and have great knowledge about everything not only related to pharma but further moree.. The teachers are very kind and friendlyy .. we can interact with our teacher anytime whenever we have any doubt can give a call or can go to their cabin for further clearing doubt sessions

All of the faculty in our department is PhD doctor or currently pursuing. All are very experienced in their respective fields and helps a lot even after class. Students can do research work under the teachers. Many of the student are pursuing their PhDs under senior teachers.

Faculties of our college are very nice and helping. They do not help you to study only. Even they help us that how to manage our schedule in our daily hectic life. They teach us in well mannered way of teaching. They do not hesitate us to explain a question many times but it should be a genuine question.
