The college does not provide placements. The college provides a one-year compulsory Internship that is suggested by the college for practical knowledge and a better understanding of the law in which students get very less stipend is provided
The college doesn't provide placement but they arrange an Internship for the students that are recommended by the school college. However, stipend provided in the internships is very less or some of them come as non-paid.
Unlike the NLU's, no colleges under Calcutta University offers any placements. Internship is suggested by the college for practical knowledge and better understanding of the law. Usually they suggest to intern under a senior lawyer, which ultimately helps in the last semester of the course
Placement happens in our college, though not very big companies and firms come in but recruitment happens and about 60% of the students get placed, though not with very high packages. The average package goes around 3-4 lakhs per annum.
