This college is the first law college in the district. It has produced so many dedicated and hard working lawyers. This college aims to promote higher education in the district. It is uplifting the backward students by making education accessible them.
The Campus of the college is in 12 acres of land, on a hill of sylvan splendour with a view of the Arabian Sea on one side and the Western Ghats on the other with eco-friendly surroundings. The campus provides the facilities like - Stadium, Library hostel etc.
Admission to the 50% seats for Integrated five Year B.Com LL.B Course will be mdone ade on the basis of merit which will be determined on the basis of three criteria. Firtst the performance in the entrance test, Second marks secured in the qualifying examination and Third interview. Remaining 50% seats in the B.Com LL.B Course will be filled by admitting candidates from the select list forwarded by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala.
The college has a good atmosphere. The faculties are very sophisticated and professional. They always deliver lectures in the best way possible and always think of new ways in which they could help us. The infrastructure of the college is also quite good.
The admission process is based on the merit list. The college requires you to have a minimum of 45% in the pre-degree examination. It does give relaxation of 5% to the students belonging to SC/ST category.
I wanted to be a lawyer since my childhood. After the 12th, I joined the Kerala Legal Entrance Examination and the Law Academy Entrance Examination. I chose Kerala Law Academy as my priority because it is a college renowned for its expertise. I was admitted to the Law Academy in September 2019.
Those who wish to enter the college must pass 10 + 2 with at least 50%. KLEE must pay for the entrance exam. Their score on the entrance test becomes the criterion for their admission. After selection, you just have to fill the admission form, which is given by the college.
The admission in the law college is through the entrance exam conducted by the state level and even though the law academy exam. After the completion of the school studies, the exam would be conducted. Through the counseling criteria, the college would be selected by the students.
The student should have about fifty and above percentage in their school exams to be the criteria to join the college. The State level entrance exam should be written by the student and the application form should be submitted in the college. Then the shortlisted candidates would be called for interviews and they would be admitted to the college.
The college is a world in itself and investing 5 years in it, even as a residential student, is totally worth it. The fee is very minimal and can be afforded easily. The hostel and mess charges are nominal too.
