Hostel Facilities:

I'm a hostel student at the government law college in Coimbatore. The hostel was very clean and freedom to students. There is no ragging inside the hostel and also the college campus. The food is very hygienic and so tasty. The hostel is placed inside the campus. The hostel mess is very clean and the restroom is also cleanly maintained. 3 students per room are provided. And there are 60 rooms at the hostel.

Hostel Facilities:

Yes, I had opted for hostel facilities, and I am so glad that I did so. The college offers various facilities to host-elites like well-furnished rooms, mess with good and hygienic food, cleaned and well-maintained toilets, gym facilities, sports complex, Wi-Fi facility with 24*7 high-speed internet connectivity etc. I would rate it a 9 our of 10.

Hostel Facilities:

No i didn't opt. But im aware rooms were ok and cozy. Room rent was Rs 200 per quarter then. Many people preferred the hostal than Taking PG nearby. As the college was abutting a residential area pg facility was also available.

The college has NSS, moot court committee, discipline committee, anti raging committee, red cross, cricket club etc. The college has has celebrations for Pongal, Diwali onam ,freshers day, farewell ,culturals.

The college conducts extracurricular activities in the college campus every year. This helps every student in gaining more knowledge and experience in the college. College fest, sports events, workshops, cultural, etc. are conducted every year.

Normal extra curricular activities are organised at the college campus by the authorities of the college such as seminars, workshops, debate competitions, speech competitions, farewell parties, induction ceremony. Sports events are also sometime organised in which competitions are undertaken by the students.

The main feature of Govt. Law College, Coimbatore is its library which has around 20,000 collection of books, journals, research papers.Apart from this, the college has computer labs with computers equipped with 24x7 Internet facility and WI-FI connectivity to help students gather knowledge.Besides the college has a subsidized canteen which offers clean and hygienic food for students and faculties.

My focus was solely on my academic schedule so, I never took interest in extra curricular activities. The little I remember doing was to participate in the one day events such as Gandhi Jayanti, Republic Day Celebration etc.
