I chose Arts as my core subject which includes History, Political science, and English.
All the faculty were highly educated and supportive. The ratio is like 1 teacher for every 50 students.
Almost all the faculty are P.hd or NET qualified. They are all an expert in their field explains in detail the topics.
Annual exams. Exams difficulty was average.
As per the latest notification from The Chatrapati Sahuju Maharaj University, there is a system of semesters due to which 2 exams are conducted in a year also there are regularly some tests were taken in order to regularly revise the syllabus and prepare for exams. Also as the exams are conducted by the university only and the exams are similar for every college the exam's difficulty level varies from moderate to difficult level.
Because I just want to complete my graduation from B.com while studying some other courses too. There are almost 25 students per 1 teacher. The teaching method is almost common like any other college in Kanpur. Mostly dependent on academics and theory. 3 out of 6 exams are MCQ-based and the rest are normal Q/A based so, the term exams difficulty level is not much as compared to your 12th.
I choose the BA program as I wanted to prepare for UPSC civil services exam. The ratio of the student is very good the strength is very good there are around 60 to 70 students in a class and their section is divided so that there is no chaos while taking the classes the faculty very good teachers are Ph.D. they have done research works they are very much into their subject. Proper PPT files and conferences are conducted for a better explanation of the topics. Semester exams are conducted which are both objective and subjective basis as well as project work is also given. Designs are simple it is based on the classroom attention as well as the books that are referred by other professors of the college so it's really good in Christ Church College
From my school days, I had a keen interest in the commerce and the business sector which was the main reason that I ended up pursuing BCom as i wanted to learn more about the corporate world.
The teachers here are very supportive and helpful although most students avoid going to college the college conducts regular classes enabling.
Teachers here are highly trained and professionals mostly are double graduated and hold Ph.D. degrees in their respective subjects They adopt friendly teaching methods which helps everyone to study Better.
The exams are usually conducted on annual basis but from this year it will be conducted on a semester basis (due to covid protocol)
College doesn't provide on campus placement after completion of the program students can either opt for higher studies or can join their business I myself joined my family business after completing my bachelor of commerce degree. My plan was the same from the starting, to join a family business after completion of the program.
There are no placements drives being held in college neither teachers nor students take interest in placements and there are no preparations for interviews. I plan to do MBA after completing my bachelor of commerce degree from christ Church.
Top college for bsc in kanpur and it was near my house, the faculty was very good and helpful. In christ church college and I opted bsc course because I want to be a professor. For higher education it wad required.
Being a graduate college company don't hire directly students from college instead different campus placement program is held thereby to the students so that they could move to their choice of career.
