Likes

Faculties are so knowledgeable and have a great experience.
The campus is bigger than other campus and strictness is maintained in this college
It have all the separate class with different departments and many events are conducted in our college

Dislikes

Ac classroom are not provided and the classes are not newly furnished

Admission:

This college is ranked at number 3or 4 and 13th in world . It has a good placement cell and have good staffing . It is popular in chennai and has a good reputation. Most of the great hoteliers are from our college.

Free food for lunch to all the students everyday
Strong security at the gates and at diff spots ensuring care for students
Nice environment friendly campus with lush greens and well maintained

Dislikes

Character of some of the teachers are bad that they don't know to take class
Office staffs need to address the students properly
Slow renovation of the buildings which is very hard to cope up with

I got admission in SNGM.Alappey, but this college is globally noticed and one of the best in the country too Rejected from no where i applied Admission process include writing the NCHM JEE exam, cutoff is not provided Relatively easy exam and can join easily too

Environment of college is very nice, teachers are very helpful very cooperative, teaching method they use is really awesome. every teacher holds a lot of experience.
Placement used to come in college is actually good and every type of company used to come so according to your strength and knowledge you can get the best company for yourself.
Many events used to happen in college so that students can participate in that and improve themselves in every right manner.

Dislikes

Majority of South indians is here so sometimes north indians get feel left out teachers also don't want to make them feel like that but they're also south indian so students easily felt left out many times.
In case of culture College didn't promote any cultural exchange thing. they don't accept north indian functions in college only south indian functions used to happen here.
In hostel bullying can happen. So make sure to not be alone if you're opting for hostel. hostel warden is not good she doesn't care at all about any student .

I didn't opt for any other college. but i saw that this college is actually good. The admission process is simple you have to give entrance exam of NCHMCT JEE. And after that in counselling you have to chose IHM CHENNAI , after that you have to register yourself there only and then the process will go on in college.

The infrastructure of the college is very good with wifi lab classrooms library and sports facilities available in the college
If we talk about hostel there is separate hostel for boys and girls and there canteen also separate for meal in hostel and quality of food id okay okay
Atmosphere of college is so friendly and teaching staff also helps students in any difficulty

Dislikes

The library is only for the name no use of it except for just sitting there and doing timepass
College have sports ground but they play sports on only sports day for photography
The college wifi is only for name its connect but don't work

Admission:

To join this course we need to pass out 12. After 12 paper there is one entrance exam known as ( nchmct ) to get addmission in any ihm we need to give this exam and this exam is compulsory as per the college there is cut off of institutions as per ranking ver get the college. The entrance exam is conduct upon up to 12 syllabus means general knowledge ability English maths etc for this entrances exam there are so many class so we can also join that so we can know very well about entrances After all this process while addmission we need to select college from the online website and need to pay 20,000 it will consider in our fees while paying college fees All the documents should be with us while doing addmission such as mark menu of 10,12 if we get addmission bu caste then caste certificate validity income certificate so on

IHM chennai overall review

The best thing about IHM Chennai is the staff is very helpful in academics as well as teaching morals and motivating to be punctual
The ground is pretty big and they offer cricket bat, ball , football , even they have Table tenis and a volleyball court,
There is mixed culture and many people think that there will be a language problem but the faculty takes lecture in eng and as such there is ola, uber , rapido if someone wants to travel

Dislikes

The drainage system is not good in chennai because of which the water log offen takes place
They give too much of written work and they expect us to submit with 2-3 weeks, Believe me completing 2-3 whole journals after such a hectic college hours is too difficult
The college hours is like morning 8 -30 to 4-30 and sometime may goes till 5-30

Admission:

The eligibility of course was 45% or more in 12th grade the application form can be easily get from the college official site the exams are too easy and we get enough time to get prepared fo it as such no need the process is smooth

My life in IHM Chennai

Likes

My experience socially in college was good, teacher and staff are friendly and understanding to the needs of students
Faculty's expertise and teaching was great, they imparted us with both practical and theoretical knowledge through the course.
Infrastructure vise our college premises was up to date, we had degital classrooms, pratical restaurant and bar and also many equited operational kitchens

Dislikes

For North and Easten Indian students, starting shall be difficult as Language Barrier is the major problem they might face
Student Lunch is not good, sometimes too much spicies and other times no taste

Admission:

To get enrolled in the college student must give NCHM exam, forms can be find at NCHM website, fees is 1500rs. Form submition last is 7th April. Examination is held once a year is held on month of May. Difficulty of exam is moderate, usually having basic knowledge of 19th standard ad general knowledge.

Most of the students are placed in college.

Dislikes

We cannot cut the class t after entering college.
The college timing is very difficulty.
The attendance is compulsory in college.

Admission:

The eligibilitty of the course is pass the Plus two exam. After that we have entrance for Hotel Management exam conducted by NCHMCT. Exam apllication fill in NCHCT website. After that we get good rank we can apply for colleges in single window through NCHct website. The exam is very easy and application process also easy to handle.

If you want to settle early then go for IHM chennai.

Admission:

Good evening everyone, during the study progress of 12 th standard we can get a application form in online named as NCHM-TEE. We need to apply for this and this application fees is arround 1300. Next they will conduct an exam it contains mostly about aptitude, English vocabulary and self skills. You need to get arround 60 to 70 percent in that test . We can also get seat easily if we have reservation. If you study well for nchm-tee exam well then you need to check eligibility of reservation. Definitely you'll get a seat.
