College life in VDC

Likes

Comprehensive clinic set up and each person having individual patient handling and their management
Overall Case exposure and central sterile supply department
Interaction with staff and exposure of undergraduate to conferences and helping them prepare their ppts and career options

Dislikes

Hostel accomodation is not upto the mark
Work life balance is so keen if you even miss it's difficult to cope up
Extra curricular activities are less as compared to other collages

Course Curriculum Overview:

Compared to medical field work life balance in dentistry is quite good and we have our personal space the fircullum is so keen that after we step out of college maximum with new advances we will be prepared to face the world and the exams conducted are quite helpful and easy to understand by anyone exam is for 1and half hour for 35 marks paper and 3 hours for 3rd internal

the college was good and we can deal with every patient.

Likes

good clinical exposure,we can deal with all the cases.
there is small group of teachings,so we can interect with the lectures.
the college infrastructure was good,we have lake view for some relaxation.

Dislikes

cultural events are less when compared to other colleges
nothing much dislikes about this college expect for the cultural events.

Placement Experience:

we have satellite clinics in some areas so that they will give us placements after graduation,if we are intrested,and the will pay up to 20000 per months,if cases increases they will hyke the salary,our college was tie up with other countries university.

Good option to choose our college

Likes

Equipment, infrastructure, exposure to patients,
Clinics, libraries,class rooms, labourites
E learning facilities, group teaching class rooms,

Dislikes

The security is very strict , mess rules
Only in month three outings are there and
Outside food is not allowed, only mess food we have to eat

Placement Experience:

Placement are good If no campus placement is offered I will work at clinics In internship after we have to write neet to qualify Mds after bds we have to write neet pg exam And after our rank we have to choose college placements

The faculty and the teaching was very good you will be explained every single thing e about clinics and theoretical they will be good interaction between the student and the faculty members
Placements we will be have opportunity at the satellite clinic we can work there and they will be supporting us
In this campus we will be learning everything in the clinic every single case we will be experience and we will be doing everything I will be learning everything perfectly

Dislikes

In this course we we will be facing more stress rather than this was best thing we can join
The placements will be less and the package they will pay will be also less
No more than that rather I don't have any dislikes through this I am very happy

Placement Experience:

I plan after the degree for pg in endodontics you will be having more chances in placement the college will be offering us they will be seeing both percentage about 85% and the work we can do they will be taking the both things not only the percentage and they will be giving the placement

I like the infrastructure and the learning facilities with new equipment in the college as introducing to advances in dentistry ,and new methods for various treatments for different diagnosis
Good social interaction as we are getting good patients count and exposing to various kinds and attitudes of patients , and good placement services are provided and also support the carrier
Good supporting faculty helps our way of speech, diagnosis the problem, ways of treatments, and helps us to know out mistakes in any kind of procedures we perform even regarding chair positions and give proper guidance

Dislikes

Regarding the timings as no holidays will be provided even in public holiday days
Extracurricular activities to decrease strees and make the the students more active even in clinical and non clinical hours are not being performing
No neet preparation for the interns for mds

In our clg thre will be exams on even clinical days which became difficult to us for the preparation for ecams and shorter preparation holidays for final examination increases strees except this remaining all regarding the curriculum is good and help for us to adapt urself according to external world clinical timing

at vdc we can earn while learn

comprehensive clinics, satellite clinics, sports, academic activities, ragging free campus, vedic centre exploration, short studies, green meadows,faculty interaction, new infracture
satellites , student care, patient centred approach, labs, infrastructure
clean and green campus, central sterile supply department, central suction

Dislikes

college is strict and disciplined campus, outings only 2 per month
hostel atmosphere is cool and didnt allow any ragging culture
food is good but regular menu with less spicy and nonveg twic weekly excluding egg

Placement Experience:

during internship there will be campus interviews in dental to insurance companies mediclaim, medisuire etc, they offer around 20 placements per year highest is 400000/year and minimum is 300000/year placements to higher studies, foreign universities , satellites is around 70% i will go for abroad to pursue DDS there after clearing exams and i will settle there

The frequency and timings of examinations is in every 3 months there are three internal exams and one prefinal exams are there in this course , this is the course that I choose because we can handle with patients .

About my college and my expericence

Likes

We have a greenary park where we can get peace and we have a hang out place were we can chill and have parties
We have a lake view and there we can do boating if we know swiming.
We have many co-curricular activites which is we can do in our free time.

Dislikes

Food is better in our hostel. And some items is limitted
Less fest as compared to other colleges.
Less holidays as compared to other colleges and less outing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is also a life saving course. We can treat people. Our class student ratio is 100. Our faculty are very friendly and they teach classes by our standard. They clarify doufts at any time. Exams are difficult but when we follow faculty guide lines it is easy.

The food courts for students are extremely awesome
The greenary was feel with the nature.Simply wow
The lake view point was hilarious.mind refresher

Dislikes

The facilities was not good at all.As there are many mosquitios
There are not much holidays for any festivals.

As the society was looking bds as a low standerd so i want to improve the coaurse.The faculty was so good and free to explain at 24/7.The faculty was like a pure milk which doesnt have any complaints about it.The qualification of teachers are PHD.There are 4 semesters for 4yrs course of bds.There will be 3 internals for each yr which are calculated at the university exams.If we study we can achieve any tough things apart from that the qualification is 75% of theory 80% of practicals

My Experience at Vishnu dental college.

Likes

Faculty is excellent . Have cocurricular and extracurricular activities.
Playground and gym for relaxation. Greenary is good.
We have a library. There are somany books where we gain knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BDS course is somewhat difficult. But going through the course we will learn more and more .we like it.BDS is a 5 year undergraduate program.4 years study and 1 year internship. The faculty are good and friendly. For every batch 100 students can take admission into the course. The term exam will be held at the ending of the 1st year . In between there will be internal exams conducted by college.
