Less stressful, comparing to other colleges staff are friendly and helpful. There is less stress and mental pressure compare to other colleges. Education wise it is goood. Teaching staff are good. Staff is always ready to help.
Development of infrastructure is taking place now witth new departments new washrooms new office. Infrastructure is slowly being developed. Good facilities and infra is there. Office staff always willing to listen to students concerns and inputs.
College campus is very lush and good. Esthetic wise
Dislikes
Patient inflow is not that good compare to other colleges.
Patient inflow is poor so cant learn hands on skills.
Infrastructure still needs to develop further in some departments.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I specifically wanted to be a dentist as there were no dentists in my family.
The curriculum does educate you on patient communication, ability to handle patients well and critical thinking skills such as bls training and high tense situations.
There can be more hands on training and patient prorograms and camps.
Exams are held once in every year and difficulty is mild to moderate.
I like how my college is jovial in somethings. I do wish they had proper bathrooms and good water facility
All the labs need improvement.... our theory classes have ac making it comfortable . But our lab doesn't and it's tiring
There is canteen where the food is kinda pricey . They have good libraries it's peacefull and quiet and we are allowed in there anytime. So that's one plus. Some staff are friendly and understanding while some trigger students very badly.
Dislikes
The improper lab facilities.. there's no fan no ac and we have to wear headcaps, coat and work in there it's too dehydrating for me.
The restrooms are not clean most of the times and they are not everywhere making it difficult for us to use one.
Also the canteen can improve their food ..
Course Curriculum Overview:
The dental prosthesis making and the work by itself is very exciting... the theory part is also vey interesting and helps us study more. I wish there would be more practical earning in the theory park like when studying about an instrument.
The faculties are good and the teaching experience is wonderful . Improved hostel infrastructure and decent lecture halls
Dislikes
The overall infrastructure is really poor . Lack of good canteen . Lack of decent washrooms . Very poor specimens in anatomy department
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose the course on the basis of handwork and aesthetic purposes. But I mainly chose the degree due to its flexibility and the ability to focus on other hobbies too. The curriculum mainly revolves around communication and handwork. It helps one to gain the courage to approach people but also teaches patience to deal with hardships.
Improvements :
Tests can be made more of mcq forms and teaching can be more improved . It still is like a conservative teaching. Example : Involve more case study based questions.
Frequency of exams is very decent and it doesn't cause much of a stress . But the pattern of exam is not good
Best thing is the college runs for more than 25 years. And the worst thing is the college still maintains the old infrastructure when compared to any other medical colleges. But still they provide all the latest equipments with 24/7 ambulance services.
Admission is on the basis of the NEET UG scores and academic performance of the student. Students have to apply separately on the official website of the college and a merit list is prepared on the basis of that.
I dont know much about the negative remarks because i dont think it needs negative remark.the management really probide a great service for all problems and facilities are also good.i dont know in view of hostel students
I wrote the Tamilnadu State Board examination. Passed out with 96%. I was interested in the field of Medicine. So I opted for this particular dental college through state wide counselling. The college is one of the top private dental college available in the counselling. By the way, marks weren't enough to get into medical college.
