Eligibility

An aspirant should meet the following eligibility criteria for full-time BDS:

• Candidate must have passed 10+2 or high school senior secondary exam by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any equivalent exam conducted by any State Board or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotech combined.
• 17 years of age by 31st December of the year of admission.
• Candidates must have a valid score in NEET UG.

Selection Process

The selection process of BDS at JDC is as follows:

• Selection is done purely on the basis of merit.
• The interested candidate needs to sit for NEET.
• NEET is a national level exam conducted annually for undergraduate students. It is an offline (pen and paper) exam of a duration of 3 hours with 180 MCQ and non-MCQ questions from Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.
• Cut-off of NEET and scorecard is declared by the selection board according to which students are admitted into the college.

The college offers the following diplomas: Dental Mechanic and Dental Hygienist course.

Selection Process

• NEET MDS is a national level exam conducted annually for graduate students. It is an online exam of a duration of 3-hour with 240 questions on topics from the BDS curriculum.
• Cut-off of NEET scorecard is declared by the college selection board according to which students are admitted into the course.
• The candidates who are selected are required to submit the documents and application form (with originals) for verifications.
• The student is granted acceptance after verifying the documents submitted.
• Selected candidates are required to pay the college fees in the stipulated duration. Admission is revoked in case of failure to pay the fees.
