Sharda University through a student's eye

Likes

Campus life was excellent. We hostelites used to roam late at night.
The hostel food was just good and some days ut would keep us grooved.
The surrounding area to college is also nice.

Dislikes

The administration is really weak and slow.
The hostel staff is also not upto the mark.
Some of the teachers were good but some were just not upto the mark.

Internships Opportunities:

There was one year paid internship in this college. We get to learn various procedures during this period as patient interaction increases. The faculties are also really supporting and helps us with everything.

Likes

The infrastructure is very good, ambience is nice
Close proximity of college to delhi , so easy reach ability
Technologically advanced so online access is easy

Dislikes

Lack of sports and physical training activities
College doesn’t have a cultural team of it own
There is no inter college competition held inside campus

Internships Opportunities:

The college won't stop you if you crack any internship opportunity for some other good college as the dean is very supportive for students. The college itself provide paid internship opportunity in the associated dental hospital. In internship you're treated and trained as a doctor and patients are assigned to you so you can learn and practice in them. The stipend provided is also good.

Likes

Teaching system is great.Teachers clear all doubts and motivate students.
Classrooms,library,common rooms all are fully air conditioned and has great environment and vibe a student needs
Students from almost 90+ countries study in sharda

Dislikes

Dealing with administrative process is quite time consuming
Hostel fees is not same for every course .Hostel rooms are same but fees vary
Administrative is sometimes uncooperative

Internships Opportunities:

I'm doing internship at sharda dental hospital. Tasks we're given is to visit for medical camps and treat the people in need in affordable prices and timely seminar programs have been organised for future guidance

Great campus life and very good faculty and infrastructure
Provide quality education and the student teacher relationship is really great
The lab and other facilities are top notch

Dislikes

I would say a little about the hostel the facilities are not up to the mark

Internships Opportunities:

The university for our course provide one year of rotatory internship within the college And there are many mnc which come to our campus and camps are organised for the students Our university has a good placement rate

Internships Opportunities:

The internship is provided very well. Almost everyone got good patients at an internship. You have to get a good job and chances to treat patients. A lot of opportunities you will get. You have to complete a lot of assessments.

My college

Placement Experience:

There is no college placement in this field for the students . One year internship in the 5th year of bachelors in dental surgery is given to the students by the college and by now they have 3300 stipend fixed for the students and with two leaves and there are half days and internship is not much stressful here.

The stipend is 3300 per month for interns There is no college placement for bds in any college You need to work yourself out for placements This is one of the drawbacks of bds that there are no placements
