Amrita School of Dentistry was founded in the year 2003. It is one of the main schools under Amrita group of Institution. Amrita School of Dentistry offers a 5-year BDS and a three -year MDS program in a full-time mode in 9 specializations. The school also offers Diploma in Dental Mechanics for the duration of two years.

Candidates can apply online for admission to any course. Payment of application fee should be done online only. Applicants have to apply separately for each course.
Those who have passed 10+2 with minimum 60% marks collectively in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English are eligible for admission to BDS course.
For MDS program, applicants must have completed BDS from a recognized university.
The applicants who have passed 10+2 are eligible to get admission in Diploma in Dental Mechanics.
Admission to BDS is given on the basis of NEET-UG score while MDS admission is offered through NEET-PG.
Diploma admission is granted on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination and performance in the interview round.

Application Fee:

Diploma in Dental Mechanics: Pay the application fee of INR 450 through Net Banking/ Credit/ Debit Card only.
The application fee for MDS and BDS courses should be submitted online only.

Amrita School of Dentistry BDS Admission 2024

Under the Dentistry Department, Amrita School offers a full-time BDS course for the duration of five years. Applicants who have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 in Science stream from a recognized board are eligible to apply for admission. Selection of the candidates is done on the basis of NEET-UG score.

Amrita School of Dentistry MDS Admission 2024

Amrita School of Dentistry offers a 3-year MDS program in 9 specializations. Candidates who have completed BDS Degree from any recognized State/ Central university are eligible for admission. Those who have qualified NEET-PG are considered for admission based on their All India Rank.

Amrita School of Dentistry Diploma in Dental Mechanics Admission 2024

Full-time Diploma in Dental Mechanics for the duration of 2 years is offered by Amrita School of Dentistry. Candidates who have completed HSC with Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English are eligible for admission.

Selection is done through the evaluation of merit in the qualifying examination and performance in the interview round.

Amrita school of dentistry review

Admission:

Eligibility is clearance of NEET UG entrance exam. Application form, fees details, etc. are all available on Amrita Vidya site along with application dates too. Reservation benefits I haven't availed. But available The exams and timings of exams are well spaced There are frequent class exams for the understanding of the course They vary on difficulty level Usually sessionals are tough but students do pass My batch has been consistently passing not a single person has failed over the years. Many batch breaks up in pieces but for us it was manageable. Just feels like a bit of leniency in terms of work completion could have been provided and a little bit of leaves could have been allowed.

By writing the neet entrance exam. First, you have to apply for all India entrance test that is neet and have to prepare for it and if you score more than 300 marks then you become eligible. Then you should give preference to the college in the mci list and then you will be alloted to college
