How to Apply for Cauvery College Ph.D./M.Phil 2025?

The application form for the Ph.D. can be filled by following the given steps:

Candidates can apply online through the official website of Bharathidasan University.
Fill the application form and attach the required documents.
The filled-in application must be submitted online and the same print out with signature shall be submitted to the office along with Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Bharathidasan University”, payable at Tiruchirappalli.
Send to the – The Director-Research, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli - 620 024.

Cauvery College Admission Process 2025

The application forms are only available offline and must be collected from the institute itself; the charges are INR 100 for UG and INR 200 for PG.

The filled Application forms must be sent to The Principal, Cauvery College for Women, Annamalai Nagar, Trichy-620 018, within 10 days after the publication of the results by the Secretary, Board of Higher Secondary Education, Tamil Nadu.
No other enclosures need to be sent along with the filled-in application for admission.
Only such application forms, which are correctly filled in with all the particulars, will be considered.
Admission can be confirmed only after the interview.
Selected applicants should note that the payment of fees in installments is not permitted.
If the fee is not paid on or before the date specified, the candidate will forfeit her seat.
Fee refund will be as per UGC norms.

Yes,Cauvery college provides scholarship to students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories;for this they have to fill an application form and submit the completed form to the college office within the given time period along with other documents like the community and income certificates issued by a Revenue Department officer not below the rank of Deputy Tahsildar.The applications will be forwarded to the concerned authorities by the college with recommendation of principal,but can not guarantee the scholarship the final call is taken by the concerned authorities only.

Ans. Yes,students from outside Tamilnadu can be considered for admission, only if they produce an eligibility Certificate from Bharathidasan University and Students from outside India can be considered for admission only if they get the clearance from Bharathidasan University and also if they have student's visa or provisional Student Visa endorsed on their passports.
